The concert funeral march ERLÖSUNG (REDEMPTION) is a musical reflection on the themes of death, grief, letting go, and hope. The work is divided into two clearly contrasting main sections, forming an emotional and dramatic arc.
The first section portrays the experience of death and the suffering that accompanies it. In the second main section, the musical character gradually transforms. The dark atmosphere gives way to an increasingly luminous and tranquil soundscape.
