„A Paragliders Flight” was commissioned by the „Musikverein (wind orchestra) St. Ulrich” from Gardena and describes a flight (L jol = ladinian) with a paraglider.

The music follows an exact program: The dream of flying; Awakening; The climb up the mountain; The efforts of the ascent; On the summit; Waiting for the right wind; The launch; Opening the paraglide; Take-off; Weightlessness; The flight; Towards Earth again; Landing; Relaxation; Grandeur; Conclusion. Catchy tunes, chromatic scales and rhythmical entanglements pose real challenges for the musicians.

An adventure for both listeners and performers.
