Fabian Gottardi was born on 27 November 1997.
He learned to play the trumpet with Meinhard Windisch at the Klausen Music School and completed his training by passing the exam for the Golden Badge. When he joined the Bürgerkapelle Klausen in 2011, he switched to his current main instru-ment, the flugelhorn.
Stages in his musical career to date include participation in several music work-shops and numerous projects; among others, he played with the Bläserharmonie Brixen, the Euregio Youth Wind Orchestra, and the fanfare orchestra ‘New FORB’.
In 2017, he began training as a bandmaster under Hans Pircher, which he complet-ed with distinction in 2021. In 2022, he took over the musical direction of the Schal-ders concert band. He was also significantly involved in the founding of the district orchestra ‘Young Winds Untereisacktal’ and the intermunicipal youth band ‘Sabiona Sounds’, where he took over the direction in several project phases.
Fabian is a talented musician with a passion for traditional, modern and symphonic wind music.
